Over half the items have to do with you. I have always felt that you have a much better chance of getting a client, customer, supporter, etc... if they like you. For this to happen though they have to know your story. Your why... it is key. To me, the most effective way to get this out is through public relations, specifically press releases. There are many opportunities and situations when you can do a press release to tell your story.
