Tammie’s Jammies Collects 1,350 Jammies for Highland Shores Children’s Aid
Port Hope, Ontario - The 2021 Christmas campaign for Tammie’s Jammies was an overwhelming success. 1,350 pairs of jammies were collected and distributed to the Highland Shores Children’s Aid so children from newborn to 18 years of age could have a new pair of jammies on Christmas morning.
Through the assistance of volunteers, friends and supporters, three times the amount of the jammies collected in the previous year were donated.
Support from local government, law enforcement, radio, newspaper, education, high school, and community organizations and businesses, also helped ensure the project's success.
This was the fourth year for Tammie’s Jammies.
The project was the creation of local resident Tammy Staples.
