Tammie’s Jammies will be at the Port Hope Candlelight Festival Outdoor Market this year. The festival is being held on Lent Lane in downtown Port Hope. Tammie’s Jammies will be there collecting pajamas for the Tammie’s Jammies Drive.
The dates and times are:
Nov 26th, 2021 – 5pm to 8pm
Nov 27th,, 2021 – 11am to 2pm
Dec 04th, 2021 – 11am to 2pm
Dec 11th, 2021 – 11am to 2pm
Dec 18th, 2021 – 11am to 2pm.
They will be collecting pajamas for the Children of the Hyland Shores Children’s Aid Society. At Christmas time a lot of families have a tradition that include opening a gift on Christmas Eve, and it was always a new fresh pair of PJ’s. You just knew this gift was yours and you could put them on and wear them for Christmas morning.
Their goal is to make sure they try and start this tradition for the children that are in the CAS system to ensure a great start to a Christmas morning that includes wearing and enjoying a new pair of PJ’s.
Tammie has made this her goal for years now and others are helping her continue supporting the children.
Please donate a pair of new pajamas to help their goal to make this a special Christmas Eve for all children. Any size between the ages of newborn to 18 is welcome.
New pajamas can also be dropped off at the Port Hope Police Station, any Port Hope Transit Bus, Port Hope Joint Operations Centre, 5 Mill Street, Port Hope Recreation Centre, Town Hall, Giant Tiger, Independent Grocer, and Queenie’s Bakery, until December 20th, 2021.
